Important Registration Details

  • Registration for Parent & Tot requires 2 steps - adding the program for the skater AND the program for the adult:
    1. Create an Account (If registering for the first time): Click Login and create an account for your self and both your skater and the Adult to your account as Participants. If you are a previous registrant, you will be able to add participants at the next step.
    2. Add to Cart (Child): Add to your cart the selection that says Child for the day/time you want - choose your skater as the participant here.
    3. Add to Cart (Adult): Add to your cart the same day/time class but select the Adult option - either 'Add a new participant' and add the details for the Adult including birth date (for insurance purposes) OR select the adult from the dropdown list of participants.
    4. Verify Cart: Before checkout, verify that the child and adult classes match the date and times. Once checked, follow the prompts to complete registration.

Important Program Info

  • All skaters and adults must wear skates and a CSA-approved hockey helmet (please reference our Helmet Use Policy for more info).
  • Each Adult may only have (1) skater! Adults must have 1 skater per adult.
  • The only adult that may be on the ice with your skater is the one registered at the beginning of the season. The Skate Canada membership fee is NON-Transferrable and so please only have the adult that will be accompanying your skater on the ice as the registered adult.

What's after Parent & Tot?

After Parent & Tot, if a skater is aged 3 to 5 year old, we offer an unparented learn to skate program called Pre-CanSkate.

For skaters that are aged 5 and up, we offer our unparented learn to skate program, CanSkate.

Find more information on both programs under the menu 'Programs'.
